SMS Broadcasts

Sending an SMS Broadcast

The SMS Broadcast feature allows you to send text messages (TXT/SMS) to the phone numbers in your property database. It's designed for getting quick notices out to property owners efficiently.

Drafting your message

When creating an SMS Broadcast:

  • Sender Identification: Every message will automatically include a required prefix identifying your association and providing opt-out instructions.
  • Message Length: The message body is limited to 320 characters, including spaces and line breaks.

Be concise and clear—this limit ensures your message stays within standard SMS length.

Targeting Properties & Phone Numbers
  • SMS Broadcasts are sent to phone numbers associated with properties in your database.
  • Use property filters (such as street, account balance, or tags) to select which properties should receive the message.
  • Each phone number will receive your message once, even if it is linked to multiple properties.

This ensures recipients won’t get duplicate messages.

Sending

Before delivery:

  • You’ll be prompted to review and confirm the message content and recipient count.
  • After confirmation, messages will be sent.
Important: Once delivery begins, it cannot be stopped.
  • Once message delivery has been attempted we'll show if the delivery was successful or not.

Plan your messaging carefully to ensure accuracy and avoid sending unintended messages.
