Security and Backup

Security

HOALife adheres to or exceeds industry standards for keeping your data safe. All data transferred in and out of HOALife is done over 2048-bit TLS end-to-end encryption. Likewise, identifiable data is stored at rest with AES-256 block-level storage encryption.

Backup and Resiliency

All customer data is backed up continuously and retained on an hourly, weekly, and monthly basis providing fine-grained data retention in the event of a catastrophic failure. Backed up data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 block-level storage encryption. While these backups are maintained to guard against a system-wide catastrophic failure, their use to recover data on a per-customer basis due to user error will be determined by HOALife on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.

HOALife provides exhaustive per-account manual data export capabilities for an additional layer of protection should a customer feel the need for their own backups.

HOALife’s infrastructure is cloud-hosted on ephemeral devices allowing for dynamic resource deployment. As a result, should our cloud hosting provider experience a catastrophic failure, we have the capability to easily deploy to alternative infrastructure with relative ease.
